The IEEE Photonics Society (formerly IEEE/LEOS) is a society of IEEE with as fields of interest: lasers, optical devices, optical fibres, and associated lightwave technology and their applications in systems and subsystems in which quantum electronics devices are key elements. The Society is concerned with the research, development, design, manufacture, and applications of materials, devices and systems, and with the various scientific and technological activities, which contribute to the useful expansion of the field of quantum electronics and applications.
The Benelux Chapter promotes in the Benelux countries the exchange of information between industry and knowledge institutes in the fields of interest of the IEEE Photonics Society. Activities include presentations by guest speakers, workshops, meetings and this Annual Symposium.
